This is the blog of Elder Calvin Hurd. This is where my awesome mother, and maybe sister too, will post some of my letters from the mission field. This is the easiest way I have found of letting everyone know what is going on in my life. So, for two years, this will be your source of information about my life.
If you are not a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and you would like to learn more about the LDS church, go to mormon.org and hover over the "Visit" tab. Select the "Meet with missionaries" button and you can figure out the rest.
Why am I serving a mission? I am choosing to dedicate two years of my life in devoted service to our Heavenly Father because I know he loves not only me, but everyone on this earth. I want to bring that knowledge to the world. He loves us and I love Him. That is why I am doing what I am doing. I know that this is what my Heavenly Father wants me to do, and I am happy to do it.
